My painting career started in the late 70’s. At that time I lived in North Carolina where painting was the family business. All of my uncles and cousins were either in the business or worked for a painting company. I joined them while still in high school, working after school and during breaks. When I finished high school I went a different way for a bit but returned to painting after about 6 months.
In 1982 I moved to Orange Park, at which time I started working for a local contractor. In 1983 I was ready to go out on my own. When one of my neighbors asked if I would be interested in doing insurance work I saw the perfect opportunity to begin my business.
Insurance work unfortunately did not keep me busy, so I started contacting realtors in the area and was able to pick up work in that market. Over the next few years I was able to establish a working relationship with many contractors, both commercial and residential, preferring custom home builders and commercial contractors. I still work with some of those same people.
I strive to be fair in my pricing and professional in my work as I have from the start. I take pride in what I do. Certainly the paychecks are important, this is my livelihood but the quality of the job and getting it done in a timely manner are every bit as important. In my experience word of mouth is more valuable than any amount of advertising you could ever buy. I will work with you to make sure that you get the best job for the money you invest as I absolutely understand that it is an investment.
In Business since 1983, I have experience in all types of painting and coating systems, both Residential and Commercial work. We are located in Orange Park, Florida, just south of Jacksonville. We have completed work all over Northeast Florida as well as the Panhandle, Central Florida, Southern Georgia, Southern Alabama and Eastern Mississippi. We’re not opposed to travel. I can honestly say that we can take care of all your painting needs.
Our primary markets are Residential repaints and Commercial property both new and repaints. Having been in the painting trade for over 30 years we have experience in painting schools, condos, service stations, convenience stores, fast food stores, shopping centers, car washes, commercial offices and numerous homes both interior and exterior. This gives us the experience to complete any project large or small.
